Helping those in need

Helping those in need see clearly, one frame at a time.

Helping those in need

At a Health Fair in Boulder, Co, I was lucky enough to be involved with the OneSight booth. They work with LensCrafters world-wide to help those in need improve their vison through outreach, research and education.Logo

There are several ways to help OneSight such as volunteering at any of their Nation-wide events, donate a pair of glasses or monetarily at any LenseCrafters across the country. We just so happen to be lucky enough to have an amazing LenseCrafters only a few miles away at Flatiron Crossing Mall. Just down the street from beautiful Camden Flatirons.  Click the link to jump to their page if you would like a little more information. Team

They give the Gift of Sight through:

-Global Eye Care- they travel the world to hand-deliver much-needed, free eye care ad eyewear through temporary Optical Clinics.

-Regional Eye Care- Regional volunteers provide free eye care and new eyewear to those in need through temporary Optical Clinics and their Vision Vans.

*Vision Vans help to “take the lab” to children in need across America.

-Community Eye Care- Volunteers world-wide help locals in need through in-store and outreach programs.

“My first experience with OneSight, I had a small child put on glasses for the first time and look up at his mom, his eyes lit up and a huge smile grew across his face as he told his mom… You’re so pretty…”-David-LensCrafters Eyewear Consultant

I challenge you to get out there and volunteer at any of their programs, donate a pair of old gently worn glasses or donate monetarily at OneSight.org or any local LensCrafters location. Get out there and make a difference in this crazy world! Check out our Camden Blog website to see what other volunteer opportunities there are out there!
